Hi everyone!
I have my latest finish to show. I simply call it “Bird Floral”. Maybe not the most expressive name ever, but it can be a challenge being creative with pattern names sometimes.

This one felt a little different than my usual. Strong colors and felt a little more traditional in the design elements. In any case it was a lot of fun to put together and stitch.

I’ve used most of September as a recharge-refueling. It’s been my time to rest, look around and some new scenery and gather new ideas. I feel way more energetic than I have in ages now. It’s probably safe to say I’ve recovered from my post-viral malaise, which is a very good thing.
So I’m using my new-found energy to finally finish my third volume of embroidery. This one is different than the first two in that it focuses on designs and adding your own creative expression. I have many more ideas beyond that!
I’ve spent the last last 6 weeks visiting the beautiful land of Wales. There are views of hills, cliffs, beaches, and old stone castles and buildings everywhere.
